Welcome! My name is Kirsten Coachman, and I am an entertainment writer and editor from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Growing up, I dreamed of becoming the next Carson Daly and interviewing my favorite bands and music artists about their work. For nearly two decades, I’ve worked hard to turn that dream into a reality, as I’ve interviewed bands, music artists, actors, directors, and other creatives about their work for various outlets.

You will find in my portfolio my determination and passion to live out my (teenage) dream. I enjoy learning about artists and their creative processes and having the opportunity to share their stories.

I relish being a storyteller, and I strive to hone my craft as both a writer and editor on a daily basis.

In addition to writing, I am probably at the movies, cheering on the San Jose Sharks, enjoying live music, tackling my ever-growing reading list, and indulging my wanderlust.
